Georgia-Florida Fishing Report Updates/Georgia Coast Report
The Georgia-Florida Fishing Report has slowed down with information being added to the website due to plenty of other things going on in my life. I'm traveling to Augusta twice a week which takes up most of the days I go on Monday and Thursday. Have had a good bit of company coming by to visit and have been released to drive again, so running errands has been a blessing as I was about to go stir-crazy cooped up inside all the time.
I plan on posting some videos now that I've figured out how to navigate through that issue building the website. If you have any good how-to videos or just videos of fishing adventures, please submit them to me and we'll get them posted. I'm not a techie, so my son suggested that it would really enhance the website. Just contact Coach R. Alan Richardson on our contact page or e-mail me at firstname.lastname@example.org
Got a good fishing report from my long-time fishing friend and partner in crime, Steve Hurney, this week from the Georgia Coast around Savannah, GA. Steve owned a small Carolina Skiff for a couple of years, but found that the ride was a little rough even inshore. Sent me some photos of 6 nice slot redfish he caught yesterday out of his new boat. Can't remember the company name of the boat, but it is a 2009 center console 18 footer with a 115, t-top and other goodies.
My brother, TE, and I hope to get down to Statesboro, GA (where he lives) and take a couple of trips with him so he can show us the inshore ropes. Most of our fishing around Savannah has been out of Tybee Island offshore, so it is new ground for us. The one thing I really like about Georgia's inshore saltwater fishing as opposed to Florida's is the Georgia regulations are much more lenient allowing for more keepers and more food for the table. Looking forward to getting back with my old friend in the spring.
Again, if you have any Georgia Coast Fishing Reports that we could use here at the Georgia-Florida Fishing Report, please, please, please submit them and I will be sure to give you full credit for the information.
Have a great week and get out there and catch a big 'un!
