Website and Newsletter Updates:
Things have been pretty hectic around here lately as I continue to work on getting the first issue of the Georgia-Florida Fishing Report Newsletter out to you during the first week of November. Due to this and other contributing factors, I haven't added a whole lot of new content to the website the past few days.
However, we have added a new tab-Outdoor/Fishing Humor and have posted our first article there. This is an article I wrote a few years back concerning good, old-fashioned, southern style Brunswick Stew. I thought you might enjoy it and have had several great comments about the article and also the one my brother Alvin wrote concerning the Legend of the Reef Donkey. Check these out on our website. They are both pretty humorous.
I have also been receiving a few more e-mails from some of my contacts as well as some nice photos of recent catches around the state. Things are moving right along, but I still have a ton of work to do.
I have yet to write anything on several of the pages, but I went ahead and posted the titles so you all could see what we have in mind for the future of our Georgia-Florida Fishing Report website. Be patient with the old man and I promise there will be some quality content on these pages before long.
Got a nice photo today from one of my former players at Greene County, Freddie Evans, with a very heavy flathead catfish pulled out of Lake Oconee. I hope he'll e-mail it to me so I can post it for you all to see.
Don't forget to share our website with all your fishing buddies and send in comments, questions, and photos so we can put the info out there for all to see. Could be that your question helps others out as well.
Get out there and catch a big 'un!
